You could try adding a little cod liver oil to his food a couple of times a week - just a couple of teaspoons.

Holly has Sardines a few times a week, actually 1/4 of a tin each morning and her coat is very very healthy so far.

Molly has 2 cod liver oil tablets everyday, and her skin's in pretty good condition.

In regards to tuna, I've always been told it's ok to feed dogs, but not too much. Molly would steal the cats tuna, so we started giving her a tin when she was little as a treat, loved the stuff, she doesn't get it so much now she's on a raw diet though.
