Todays walk went well again [ chasing birds on the beach ] on the way home i had a brain storm, lets go to the vets for a check up. Everything if fine with sky, they agreed about 4 ish, then she got weighed. silly question is 18.40 kgs about right for a 4 yr old bitch?.

Fine weight Big Grin well done on the MOT! Moo was 22.5kg when we went to the vets last week, but she is lets say, slightly bigger than standard lol Xx

Really depends on size as there is so much variation , Tilly is about 17kg. Some photos might help , please Big Grin

I don't care much for weights really, body shape/look is more important to me! Although he is 21kg or so at 13 months haha!

As long as they look a good weight, not too rotund and not too thin, that's fine by me Big Grin

I agree with this, some staffs can be quite heavy but are solid muscle and lean. On my canal walk there is a 11kg jrt!!! And hes ripped and i mean ripped. He follows his owner to work each day as he cycles in. Stunning dog.

Good on you for taking her in though, people often forget most vets will let you see a nurse for a free health check and it gets them used to the surgery under nice circumstances and if they ever need to go for illness it will be a place they recognise and not be worried about.
