now out of date bloody Microsoft

pleased I never got it then only on my work pc and netbook , still running XP pro on desktop and laptop

yea my pc is still xp i'm going keep it till it breaks i cant afford to keep update with new OS

at the moment I've just wiped my old desktop (about 7/8 years old now I think) and keep it clean for docs and normal internet etc working much faster these days , got the laptop for downloads so I can screw it up and the netbook is the bairn's and we share it when we go away

my laptop is window 7 but that just for poker

poker ?? couldn't be doing with that

i wouldnt worry to much about windows 7 at the minute it xp thats going to encounter problems as they will stop the updates.

pc will be like phone one day and that when i wont be albe to keep up i cant afford to buy a new pc every year

I don't even try , don't really see the importance of changing the OS as long as it does what I want it to its good for me, sure it has a few features that are good but not the be all and end all for me

i can see it going to the point were you need to download payed downloads every year to keep your os up to date

it's all about making money not serving the customers

have you seen window8 demo its nothing new iv been using the same setup on my phone for years now.
i got a voucher for upgrade when bought my lappy a few weeks ago and i wont be using it i will be sticking with win7

how old was xp 12 year old or something now they dont last 4 years

win8 look bob i dont want to touch screen, i dony want a pads i was a good pc that easy to use like xp
