Duke here at long last

Well Duke is finally home , i have to say for 8 weeks old he is one clever puppy , he comes when i call him and when i walk he walks at the side of me looking at me i think it's called the i want to please you look , he has had one pee in the house the others outside plus a poo outside , the breeder said he was eating his poo but he didn't get a chance to do that , the breeder also said he wont eat dried food well one whiff of James wellbeloved with whitefish and he was away , he is not a giddy pup at all nor does he seems to be a nipper, loves his toys as he should and has taken to his bed in the crate , all in all a good start .

I don't want to worry you, but Loki was very calm, obedient and followed me at my side with a happy look for the first few days too...

...and then he settled in and became a demon . But really, it's great he's doing so well.

I know what you mean ANattyRat he is settling in as yet , the puppy class is being booked soon

Thanks for all your kind comments , we are ready for the devil in him , i have to say after having dogs all our married life he seems to be one laid back puppy he is asleep as i type right now, he obeys the NO command , we are taking him for first jabs tomorrow and my wife says you can bet your bottom dollar that's when things will change , but up to now we are very very pleased with him touch wood

Glad things are off to a good start

Came down the stairs at 7.30 to be greeted by Duke greeting me with a wonderfull puppy yap and wagging his tail till his bum nearly fell off , checked his bed not wet or damp pheww , took him into back garden he had a wee straight away , came back in and fed him he devoured it , ten mins later took him back into garden and Eureka he pooed , he then heard a noise from across the back ran to me sat in between my feet ears pricked i was touched i have to say , will post more pics later .
