1st day of walking

Well as the title said it was tash's first day of walking today and she has been a star. This morning we had a nice quiet walk along the river for 15 mins, and she trotted along quite happily by the side of me.

This afternoon i was brave and took her to the local park with the kids. It was packed and kids kept coming up and stroking her and screaming how cute she was and she was brilliant with them, rolling on her back, wagging her tail, loving being the centre of attention. Woman comes up with border terrier, tash tries to jump on its back, lady was fine, dog was and then gave her a growl and tash backed off, then we met the massivest 5 month old puppy ever, cant remember what kind of dog it was and it came over to tash and was really bouncy and tash was inquisitive but a little concerned but still brill.

So much better when you can get out. Just be careful not to overdo it at first. What a cutie in the avatar though. Like Janey says...pics!

Glad she had a good experience first time out. Just go slowly on the meeting of other dogs. Let her gain confidence slowly. Are you considering puppy school?

Glad she did so well Loki is and always has been too excitable he walks well on the other lead, but a person comes near us and he's dying to get to them. Sounds like you have a naturally-calm, obedient puppy unless you've been training her like crazy.
