Belly Crawl

I have a 10 mth old male staffy, he has just started to do a strange crawl across the floor, with his back legs backover! it looks funny but dont know why he does it. anyone else seen this combat crawl! John

Frank looks more like a frog, flat on his belly and pushing with his back legs! looks very funny then again he is a funny little dog! Cheers, John

yep, Jelly does it and looks pretty much exactly like Zeus's picture above when she does. It's too cute!!

she has started making a little howl/talking kind of noise lately too, along with her little growly purr. they are funny little things indeed!

I'II try to put video on, just not that sure how do it! got lots of replies,it sounds if its a Staffy stunt! Lots of them are doing it

Polly does that whenever her skin allergies are about to flare up, she gets very OCD and will keep going until she has no fur left from her chest to her groin and her skin is raw

Callie crawls from a more usual down (with hind legs tucked underneath) into frog dog position, then she keeps clawing forward with her front paws. Very odd looking but she's done it since we got her.

Both mine do the crawl so funny when they do it at the same time

when i can ill get a photo of my jack who is 4yrs old, he does exactly the same all streched out so i cant resist but tickle his belly, also when its sunny he will go in the garden and lay on his back legs acimbo and he just does not care.... were all happyx peter

vinnie does it too :L i always scratch his back legs and his bum for him he loves it he walks infront of me and does the position purposely for scratches now i think!!

Bella does this as well. She ends up pulling herself forward with her front paws and her legs straight out behind her
