just got back from a bike ride

i walk this afternoon nearly killed my sam he had to lay down 3 times on the walk so i though i wait till it cool down abit before i went on my bike ride

Yes, Dempsey can't go as far as usual in this heat - it's the humidity I think. Not so bad really early (around 7am) but after about 8am it's really hot.

i went out about 12ish i wont be doing that again

I didnt walk today at all, lexi was lying down panting in the shade all day. I know she wouldn't have went far lol

I dont walk Rocky in the heat of the day. I go out early in the morning and then later on when it's cooled down a bit.

Their body temperature is slightly warmer than ours to start with anyway, so they would be hotter during the day.

We usually take Suki on her long walk and play around 630AM and are done by 830 or so.

It was 70 here today. I had to put my cats in the stable cause they were sitting outside panting. The water bowl had gone hot in the shade!
