Multi Quotes

Just a quick question on how to do multi quotes?

I've tried to use the buttons, and they don't seem to work, so short of manually typing it out.... How do I do it?!

Click on whichever 'multi quote' buttons you want, and then click 'post reply' (not 'quick reply'). The posts you want to quote will show up beginning & ending with the words [quote] & you can type your replies in between.

Just click multi quote in each box you want, then click on the post reply button at the bottom. All the quotes will come up in the text box and you can write what you want then send. Give it a go here.

Nice one I've always wondered how that multi quote thing worked.
I've been getting the kids to type out lines I needed for punishment. Now I can go back to getting them to re tiling my roof

Nope I still don't get it   

And really can't work out how to part quote either ! Maybe it's because I'm on an iPad mini or something  

Just select the far left quote icon from each post you want to quote and then select the posr reply option from the bottom where you type your response.

No idea how to partial quote other than deleting what you don't want

Ok yup got the multi quote thing now... Was missing out the post reply at the bottom.. Simple when ya know.

You might well be right about just deleting the bits you don't want.

^^ bloody hell that was easy its taken me 3 years!!    

it even took me an while to get ti also    

Its so ruddy simple though we must be numpties lol!!
