Does the hot weather affect your dog?

Debo wants to sleep all the time at this weather,is it normal? He still enjoys his walks,eats fine. just want to sleep .

I am a sun worshipper and fourtunatly the heat doesn't seem to bother Moo, been out all day, lovely, although she is a sleepy girl now

He loves to be out ,he does might the weather,is only when we get home,he's a sleepy head. I got him a lovely cooling fan,which he ingnores and sleep now under the table

Thats what happens when you try and be helpfull

We dont walk Rocky in the heat of the day as he does get too hot then is sick. Stick to early morning and later in the day.

My girl really feels the heat and will lay on the tiled floor then move to a cooler spot.
My pup loves the sun tho, he will happily lay in it all day ! I keep a bowl of wAter outside and inside + ice cubes lol

Also bought a paddling pool for the kids and the dogs ! Pup loved it he was straight in but m girl wasn't interested!

sasha loves the sun,she'll lay out in it panting away and then give in and lay in the shade,does make her very sleepy,we also go out early morning and later in the day when its cooler for our walks.

Lexi loves the heat but she definitely can't walk as far in it, usually about 30mins does her in heat or she will lie down.

Lily isn't good in the heat. She starts off OK but tires really quickly and then hurls herself flat on the floor and wont move. She does the same thing every few yards - takes us ages to get home. I only do early morning or evening walks as well

Suki loves the sun but it drains her energy and makes her sleepy.

Mine love the sun but when it is really hot they just sleep it off. They do wear out fast in the heat.

Mine get tired out in the sun and move around the house trying to find the coolest place to lie. I stick to early morning and evening walks as well. Bella has an allergy to the sun/heat and comes out in lumps all over so we stick to more shaded built up areas to walk.

Pixee loves to sunbath in the sun first thing on the decking, then she will move to the shade panting! Then in the kitchen under the table frog style cooling down. She cant stand a long walk in the heat as it tired her out. Its early morning walkies now and later in the evenings. I might take her out through the woods in the shade for 20 mins around 3ish. Depends on her engery levels . I did buy her a paddling pool, all she does is bark at it, drink the water from it, but boy will she go in, No!
