Kaos is booked in on thursday.....

Well now xmas is over i thought i better bite the bullet and get kaos netured. So he is booked in for thursday at 9.00am!
He has been really sick this morning so i think he knows lol.....

i need to take my xena back to the vets, she got a big lump on her back leg

He will be fine. I am sure the vet will give them 24hr pain blocks.
just have to keep him quiet for a bit

What is up with Xena...? ( lol my MIL name is Zina) makes me chuckle lol

He'll be bouncing around the next day and you'll be wondering how to keep him calm! lol

Yea i no haha. When Ty was done they were like keep him quiet for a few days?!?!?! quiet??? If anyone no's how to do that let me no!! We also has awful trouble with Ty eating his stitches, he could get the collar off in 15 minutes I hope kaos doesnt master that trick lol x

I dropped my baby boy into the vets this morning he cryed and cryed when the nurse took him away it was horrid lol made worse by summer my 2 year old screaming the place down coz she wanted kaos!
My baby is now 21.3kg i couldnt belive it he's now a good 2/3 kg heavier than Ty now!
If they havent phoned me by 2 im gonna phone to see how he is. Just been shopping for chicken rice and eggs for his tea! x

he is a big boy i thought memphis was big at 18.5 kg but then kaos is 2 weeks older lol

Yea and 2 weeks makes all the differance still atm as im sure u will agree wazza! He honestly doesnt look that heavy though, he still looks quite baby like to me tbh. My guess on his weight was 15/16kg Ty still looks the bigger dog (just) lol

Aw, hope he's home soon & you can give him lots & lots of hugs!

no he dont look fat he must be tall for that weight maybe he has a touch ov carthorse in him lol

Well hes home! All went well, he hates the cone collar lol and is crying in his crate at the moment! He doesnt believe me when i say i did it for him haha! x

Aw, I bet he's making you feel really guilty! How long does he have to wear the collar for? When Dempsye had his stomach operation I was told he had to wear it until the stitches came out + a day, but he was so depressed (and his ribcage is so big that he couldn't reach the stitches anyway!) that I took it off as long as I could supervise him. I put it back on at night, though, just in case.

Done and dusted! Its a stress for you both and will be forgotten soon.

Im not quite sure how long he has to keep it on, they done it different than when Ty was done. He doesnt have any stitches to come out they are all internal ones, hes got a check up on tuesday so i suppose till then. I do the same as u did caryll it was stressing him out so much i just put it on him when im going out and at bed time. Hes alright though lol like u said janey he will of forgotten about it this time next week! x

Those collars - I know they do a good job, but the dogs get so depressed wearing them. How is he this morning? Is he talking to you yet?

lol to be honest he's absolutley normal just wants to play and be naughty like usual... hes had his collar off all morning and hasnt tryed to lick at all, ive had to separate the dogs though coz Ty wont stop trying to lick him lol x

Maybe Ty wants to know where they've gone!
