Removed post

Can i ask why my previous post was deleted?

It may be because of the new copyright laws & the pic you posted.

I can take the pic off, but surely the whole post didnt have to be deleted? It was for a good cause

Put it up again, without the pic - or ask Steve if it's ok. Maybe the link wasn't allowed?

I don't know who removed it, so I can't say the reason for sure.

Thanks for your suggestion Caryll but I think I'll wait for whoever removed it to state the correct reason why they did. It was a link to donate funds for a documentary based on Andy Whitfield's last days of life, he died of cancer. Instead of simply deleting the post without offering any reason whatsoever, the OP could have just deleted the picture and left it as that.

I know I saw it & was going to come back to it for a proper look when I got home!

the image was copyrighted the video look the same, we cant have that on the forum any longer.

no links to copyrighted videos be added to the website you can do this do this

ok im confused about this, the link i displayed wasnt specifically for a video, it was for the website which just happens to have a video in the site. its not a direct link to a website. so it would be the same as adding a link for a newspaper website wouldnt it?

the newspaper would have bought the royels or whatever for the videos

ok fair point. so am i able to put links to a youtube video on here? thats a copyright free website for the public right?

As far as I know, as long as you don't say you own the video & don't change anything about it, it's ok!

The copyright laws are so complicated it's difficult to know what you can & can't do!

Just saw your pic of Zeus,s Mum she was a stunner too she actually looks the image of my skye but skyes eyes changed colour when she was one

I am sure his won,t change often the light staffies keep the light eyes i bet you get stopped everytime you take him out lol i,ll attach some pics of skye shes still gorgeous even though her eyes changed she kept a pretty face
