Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.

I woud say you need to find out where the infection is coming from ie an allergy or what ever else.

Mine has been pron to ear infections.

You can buy a cleaner over the counter at the vets and use it weekly. Its the cleaner that you get suscribed when the vet checks them.

My vets won't do a repeat pescription of the anti biotics, but I have found if I keep them clean with the cleaner the infection hasn't occured again.
