funny grunting noise.

Just thought id check. My other staffy blitz, used to do a funny grunting thing. Its hard to explain. Kenny has started doing it too. I remember asking the vet and he wasnt sure. I've tryed to get it on video, but by the time i turn the camara on it stops. Its not something he does by choice, it just happens. Is it a staffy thing. Its like he grunt quite fast, i automatically stroke him or gently blow gently in his face and it stops, he looks scared while it happens. The vet cant see anything wrong, so asked me to film it, but happens without warning. Somebody, somewhere mentioned " backward breathing"! ???

mine kind of grunts/groans when she is relaxing or going to sleep.. I usually pat her too.. will be interesting to see other posts (Im so new to Staffies )

I just found a video on youtube, a dog was doing the same at the vets, its called reverse sneezing. Its caused by allergie. The video is callecd, Reversed sneezing,Not choking x check it out

Ya Holly does this from time to time, I don't think here is anything to worry about.

Butkus does it all the time, I call it his piggy noises.

I don't think I've ever met a staffy that hasn't made that noise so they can't all have something wrong with them...can they?!
