When outside, she chews/eats EVERYTHING!

Leaves
Sticks
Bark (pardon the pun)
Moss

Everytime a leaf blows by she chases it and chews it up!

She shuffles around the patio making a funny noise and hoovering up the moss from between the slabs!

Is this normal?

Should I stop her (fat chance) or leave her to it?

I would put a stop to it. Easier said than done though. You could try a halti harness or spraying her with water when she tries to eat something she shouldn't

Oh, this is a familiar one. Yes, try to discourage it or you will be sorry. Sometimes we just have to send kids out to "babysit" the dogs outside or they eat all sorts of things. This weekend I get to redo some drip lines. Yep, wasn't watching...

I know that feeling.
I would try and put a stop to it. It's really not easy though is it, they seem to just inhale anything they pick up.

Moo is a paveement hoover but I really do try and discourage it, she's 3 btw!!

Taz chases leaves - which I don't mind - she's still a pup - it's interesting for her - but I do try to discourage foraging and snuffling - you never know what they can pick up and there are slugs around - which I'm told can give them lung worm (true or not I don't want her eating bugs)

And Taz, Oi etc are so repeated I'm thinking of putting them on a dictator machine to save my voice

They definitely like doing that alot! How old is she? Mine did that till he was about 3 months old and then he stopped putting everything is his mouth, now its only a few things

I found that once he started having regular chews (rawhide, pigs ears etc.) he was less likely to chew random things. Though he still loves to randomly tear up grass....gotta love them!

Rolo is the same he drove me bonkers... just like you every other word seemed like No, leave, drop... we found always carrying small biscuits was great.. everytime we wanted him to leave something we offered him the biscuit, he soon cottoned on, now he doesn't always get the treat but he still has to come to find out I also decided to pick my battles, leaves, sticks... not so important, he generally dropped them after a few minutes. Rubbish, plastic, rubber...becomes a game to get to me, sit and get that treat. By then we've moved far enough away from what he dropped to run back to me Good luck.

we lost all our garden setting cushions. she has busted balls and tore off all the fur.. was getting washing off the line (hasn't for a few weeks touch wood). I found the firm NO or leave has worked, just not straight off. They sure know if they are in trouble though.. those puppy dog eys lol

ali is the same, i had t nearly wrestle off him a whole turkey carcass some idiot had thrown out. has started jumping while chasing birds, i think he thinks he can fly after them. i too am fed up of ALIIIIIIII, NO, DROP , WAIT ALIIIIIIIIIII. They do make u laugh tho. his walks are never boring thats for sure
