Taking Tilly to Europe

Guys, we are looking at taking Tilly to France, then maybe Spain etc from Jersey this year. I am so confused if we can take her or not . I appreciate I need to get a passport for her and I have her KC registration details to prove that she is a pedigree but do I need anything else. I hear France do not like Staffies?

Yes, as long as you have all the necessary health tests for travel & her KC registration documents, you'll be fine.

The authorities in France have the same view of 'pit' type dogs as the English authorities do, I'm afraid. But the prdinary people, as a rule, are ok. You'll have problems with things like camp sites etc, though. Many won't take any of the so-called fighting dogs.

I'm afraid I don't know about Spain - hopefully someone else will be able to help.
