Hi mate , well ive just had dakota in season there she's just over 2yrs of age and i let shady cover her he's my male n he's just over 3 , that was dakota's longest season to date , and the 1st time ive let shady cover her , she bled for 3 weeks straight there and half way through the second week she stood for shady twice ( whilst still bleeding ) after that she didint want to know , although shady was still very keen and lost a dew claw to boot and a few gaudges out his face , from my own experiance the bitch will stand when she's ready , she might still be bleeding , if they are getting out of controll ie the bitch being super aggressive keep them apart for a bit you just need to be on guard , it can get a bit scary , but generally the bitch will offer herself to the stud dog by more or less waving it in his face , i have known bitchs that just wont stand aswell , really all the advice i got for breeding went out the window with my two , ive studded out shady in the past and he's covered the bitch's a few days after they stopped bleeding and they had successful litters , but with my own bitch she stood while bleeding and didnt want to know when she stopped , im hoping she's 2 weeks pregnant at the mo , nipples are growing but other than that hard to say , Big Grin
