feeding how much

reading on the puppy food bag what he should be eating jake seems to eat more is he just greedy or should i only give him so much he's 14 weeks what should he be having per day ????

I would go on the guidlines of the food but as a pup they are very energetic and will burn more so also go on appearence Xx

Start by giving the recommended amount, but if he still seems hungry and is either losing weight or isn't growing rapidly, then increase the amount. The guidelines on the bag are just that - guidelines. They're all different, and have different energy levels. If Jake's an active boy, then he may need a bit more.

Just keep an eye on him & if it looks like he's getting a bit too podgy, then cut back a little!

Agree they are all different. Just adjust based on activity and apperance. Don't forget about treats if you are using them for training.

With puppies I just go by their appearance. As long as they don't gain too much weight I let them eat as much as they want.
