took her to the vets. we took a muzzle along just in case we needed it and its a good job we did. she didnt get nasty but her whole body and the look in her eyes told us not to take the chance. she was fine in the waiting room just sat eating the free biscuits and had a drink. walked to the door of the examination room and she literaly messed the floor. got her inside and she was shaking all over and the look of fear on her face was unbeleivable. pete put the muzzle on and i held her head so she could cuddle up to me and the vet got on the floor to take the stitches out which did come out easy enough. she then started to calm a little when the vet walked away from her and we just stould talking. she had a booster just in case as well and we got worming tablets for her.

then onto the park for a run around and a play and she is now happily settled in bed fast asleep with lemmy curled up at the side of her as though the whole thing never happened.

Poor little love. Some dogs know, when stepping foot in the vets they know the dog is there for something. Hope Lottie is fine in herself when she wakes up. Love Struck

Sorry to hear that she was so distressed. I bet you felt terrible, I know I do when Harry goes to the Vets for any reason even though I know its got to be done.

Never mind Lottie its all done now!

poor Lottie... Love Struck good it's over now Smile

this reminds me of my previous dog Max who wouldn't let any vet closer to him than few meters (he would get VERY angry) - my mom had to take his stitches out once just to make it easy for everyone Big Grin

Oh poor baby.. Must be so distressing when they're unhappy like that. That reminds me it's about time to take Gummi down to the vets for another visit. I always try to drop by as often as I can manage when they're young - just to visit and get kisses and treats.

Aw, glad she felt good enough after leaving. It is no fun watching them afraid.

Poor Lottie, glad she is ok now. Sounds like a very traumatic experience for her.
