Hey guys

just wondering how you lot go about looking for the family tree/pedigree of your staffies s i have tried various websites on here and cant seem to find anything about stanley, his sire or the dam. can someone please help me

Do you not have a copy of his pedigree? The letters after the names are the copies of the Breed Records Supplement in which their registration appears. These supplements give the pup's name & the names of both parents, so if you got the ones that the parents are in you would be alittle further.

If you phone teh kennel club & tell them the details you have, including the registration numbers, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

Yes you should be able to obtain a pedigree from that if the owner of the bitch registered the puppies

Can you ask the breeder for a copy of the 5 generation pedigree for Stanley?

Why won't the breeder give you a 5 generation pedigree form?

apparently her ex has got the info and they have recently split so she is getting it all from him and he is being a little bit rubbish about it.

Did you contact the kennel club?

who would i contact? and the info given is the info they have on forms

If you have the registration details, they will be able to supply you with a five generation pedigree. They'll charge you for it, but they can certainly do it. Just phone the main switchboard & explain what you want - they'll put you through to the right person.

i wanna try get copies from the breeder before shelling out for new copies from the KC

If Stan is registered, did you transfer him from the breeder to you? If you did, you should have recieved a pedigree with the registration papers.

As far as I know, yes. But if you phone the kennel club they can confirm that.

What papers did you get from the breeder or the kennel club?
Your puppy has been registered he has his personal kc number to obtain a official document from the kennel club but with what your saying it sounds like your breeder hasnt transfered ownership to yourself had he done this then the kennel club would have wrote to you and gave you the opertunity to buy from them his 5 generation pedigree.
If you have got this from them then its your duty to buy this doc yourself as some breeders will and some wont but it is available to you.
The list of dogs that was given to you I think are all dogs and no bitches
Im sure you can easily get this sorted
