Tilly has no papers she was my introduction to the breed and learnt all about the problems from dodgy breeding and dodgy sites selling pups etc ( all from our great forum )

Anyway then I went on to purchase Tommy after some careful research Fergiestaffs Olympic Flame

Tommy is a stunner, alot of good looking dogs.

Ya i must admit i did very little and didnt know much about the imbreeding in dogs but as far as i can c there isnt any in her bloodline from her fathers side.

It's amazing what we all learn after buying , not so many do their research first but the important thing is to learn from it all and if you've been lucky then bonus She is a cracking looking girl. See there are a few Noblestaffs dogs in there I believe their kennels aren't so far from me

It's all down to us to input the data , shame the KC don't have an easy reference

Just a thought though didn't you get a 5 generation pedigree from the breeder when you got her , I don't know what KC she would be registered with

No i didnt get any pedigree with her, she is registerd with irish kc. They only give 4gen pedigree and they are €40. Will ring the breeder tomorrow and see what i can find out.

so you have to get all your info from the breeder , sure I got something unofficial when I picked up Tommy , just for info but I did have to buy the genuine KC cert from the UK KC as is the norm

No reason why the breeder can't give you some names

Just have heard of some cases ( and I think only in Ireland ) where the breeder hangs on to the papers and then charges extra if they want them , of course this may just be a ploy as the dog ain't registered and a lot of people may not bother going further with it as they think we don't want to breed or show so why pay the extra

Ya have found two names come up twice. Would you expect this or is it bad?

Really depends how many generations back you are talking , there are an awful lot of blue on blue matings though which is not the best thing . I don't know about Ireland but its frowned on by the breeders in the know here due to the higher risk of CDA ( Colour Dilution Alopecia )

A nice blue is a beautiful dog but they do tend to get a lot of bashing due to breeding morals , prices charged etc and a very hot topic on here and also around a lot of FB groups etc concerned with showing , breeding

If you look at Tommy's ped then I think 4 and 5 generations back you will see "Tommy's Pied Escort" show up 2 times , this was the norm back then and known as line breeding to keep certain traits and features in the dogs , these days it is a practice still done by some breeders and frowned on by most . It is a carefully done science as opposed to general inbreeding which is just throwing together dog after dog after dog to make a quick few quid

6th and 7th gen. I was told that lolas mother was a black staff but she isnt black she is blue. This is all because i rushed to buy instead of looking into it propley.

Don't worry , you have her now and there is no changing that . I bought Tilly from BYB and at the time I didn't even know what a BYB was , however she is the most beautiful girl and we get the most positive comments from her . You didn't know and didn't research , typical first sale and thats the end of it . We hope you get no problems with her but to ask another way , if you knew in 6 months time you would have problems would you take her back ?? Don't think so as like every other Staffy they win your heart the moment you see them.

She has some absolutely cracking dogs 5, 6 and 7 generations back in her ped . All the recent ones are beautiful dogs too just obvious the breeders got a bit greedy and go Blue on Blue to try and guarantee the colour and the money but that's why the whole Blue debate is how it is . You go onto any site about staffs and start talking about blues , prices and breeding and its just like lighting the fuse

It's inbreeding in my book and way too close, all line breeding is actually inbreeding with a science applied to it , I am no expert in this though just know it's not good, sorry just being honest but as I've said already unless you are going t complain and take this little girl back it means nothing to you now.
If you decide to look for a pal for her in the future you are much better armed to know what you are looking for

Listen, Harry, what's done is done. You have a beautiful pup who adores you, and I'm sure you adore her!

Unless you intend to breed from her you really don't need to worry about her pedigree - just enjoy that beautiful face! 

The dog above is nothing to lola but he would b the main stud dog for blues over here. Ya alot more prepared and thanks for the info.

I dont care wat she is, jst intrested in it all and learing about it all and evry1 has been great in giving the answers.
