I can tolerate most anything depending on who says it. There are some words that will set me off though

I hate the "C" word, the "N" word and the "F" word (the three to six letter one that refers to homosexuals) all three make me cringe when I hear them. I also hate the word "Heifer."

Same here - that's the one word I will NOT have used in my house.........and if I EVER hear either of my two kids use it, they'll get a clip round the ear even though they're 17 & nearly 19!

my OH and his mates swear so much I am desensitized to most words. I agree with Catsina, hate hearing people say the F word (for homosexuals). as well as the C word that is often used as a name for aboriginal people here in Australia...
words that are showing people being racist and sexist and homophobic - can't stand it.

I'm pretty easy going but the N word is up there for me. Racial slurrs in general are something I don't tolerate.

Same here. Nothing gets me going more than the use of that word. It is so not necessary and disgusting.
