Getting our 1st Staffy tonight :)

We are re-homing a 3 year old papered Staff tonight called Munch Smile

really looking forwards to getting her as we love staffs and although we have never had a pure staff before, we had a staff x lab called Max.
Any advice or hints specific to the breed?
I have been researching like crazy in preparation

no, i will take lots of pics, she's very affectionate and lovable but her owner had a little Jack Russell who sadly passed away and everytime they leave her, she trashes the house so she's coming to us and there is always someone home so she will never be lonely again Smile

She is a bit of a micro-pig though so could use some exercise!!

we have a footpath going through the fields behind us and i've spoken to the farmer and he doesn't use the first one for animals so he's happy for her to run and chase toys to her hearts content in there Smile

i know

the camera battery is charging up.... my partner has his cars and his related forums and now i have Munch and this forum Smile

getting very excited now.
The best bit is she's great with little furries too so my 6 cats will be fine (despite the fact that 3 are kittens, 2 of whom are going tonight) and the older 3 are 110% outdoor cats

Thanks she's arrived and has settled in really well, the kids love her, we love her and she's so well behaved. She's gone down the shop with my hubby and his friend to go and get her a nice bone Smile

yep, there will be some up tomorrow at some point, have a busy weekend with 5 kids and my parents round to visit so poor munch is being thrown in at the deep end a bit but i suppose it will test her character

Nothing wrong with that. We did make Suki sleep in her crate the first week though until she had learned the rules of the house.
