hi do pics make dogs look bigger than they are. coz i have have a male staffy who is almost 11 months old. and a lot of people say hes big for his age he weighs about 50 lbs and stands about "18 ins" but compared to dogs on this site he looks very small and do you think he will grow any more. thanks

18" is above the standard height for a staffy but as most people seem to have non KC reg staffs now anyway which are generally breed bigger than standard he seems fairly "normal" whats 50lbs in KG? Both mine are rescues and not registered and are both around the 18" mark my 2 year old is 18ish kg and my 17 month old is 21kg

At 18" & 50lb he's way over the standard height & weight (Size
Desirable height at withers 36-41 cms (14 to 16 ins), these heights being related to the weights. Weight: dogs: 13-17 kgs (28-38 lbs); bitches 11-15.4 kgs.
), so he's a big boy! I would say he still has some filling out to do as well.

Generally speaking they get taller the first year and wider and more muscular the second. Yours still has some growing to do Big Grin
