i work in a motorcycle shop,scooters and bikes my other loves,we keep the doors open all day and customers bring their dogs in much to my delight,today a chaffy looking lad came in with a staffie very similar to our alfie,must have only been about 4 months,making a bee line straight for her i noticed she was backing away from me,so i knelt down to her level and held my hand out to her slowly,she just seemed so frightened,i asked her owner if she was ok,and said yeah she is,just dont like people very much after one of my mates was drunk and kicked her in the face .makes me so mad that young lads like him can have dogs when they dont care about them,what hope do these dogs have with owners like that??

has the idiot who owns it not thought to help the dog recover and not live in fear. people dont realise what they are doing to the animal if they dont halp it live without fear. its makes me so mad that it happened in the first place but the lad needs to help his dog bot ignore it

He probably kicked it in the face himself trying to make it become aggro. I hate chavs in general but ones that get these status dogs annoy me even more. Saying that i do know a guy who is the chav king of my town (druggie lay about who basically supplies the town with stuff) has a lovely staffie bitch who is SO friendly and completely non aggro and is good with other dogs and listens to every word hs says he walks her every single day (cause hes always going to the shop for beer or fags!). Shes getting a little long on the tooth so he just got a rottie bitch, who is also a lovely lovely dog with brilliant temperament. So even though he is a total knob i have to say he dogs are lovely!

I hate people who get their dogs to train them to be aggressive, but as much as this guy is a 'chav' as you put it sounds like he has his dogs nice and you dont get that from mistreating them!
