Someone slap me before do it again.
Been visiting a friend whos bitch "accidentally" had a litter of four pups after the daughter of the house let the boys play with the girl in the garden ( boys are now snipped).
One of the pups is a lovely blonde bitch, really pale. I already have her older brother and sister and everyone thinks it's a great idea to take her also. I think two bitches would be hard work? the older two have never been seperated since birth and get on perfectly so i would worry about adding another?. What do people with multi staffy households think? They will be careful about who takes her so she should find a good home if i say no, but it is tempting .

So long as you know what you are doing, which you obviousely do (seens your dogs are gorgeous and i don't believe you have mentioned any behavioural problems with them) having same sex breeds together is no concern, my girls get along fantastically and my boy loves the attention of boths girls, they play/eat/sleep together with no bother.

I think it all depends on the individual dogs. People have told me that 2 bitches wouldnt get on, two males wouldnt get on, dogs out the same litter wouldnt get but i have 4 female staffies and 3 male staffies (a male and a female from same litter) and i have no dominance issues what so ever.
I think if your dogs have been well socialised then they should get on fine

I would be worried about upsetting the bond that your two already have, but I don't know if that is something that would really happen.

If you have the pups older brother and sister then how can they have managed to have another accident with unwanted pups? Still I guess some people can just be irresponsible!
I would personally wait if you could until your older bitch has matured sexually and mentally until you bring in another girl. As Claire says there are very rarely problems when they are young, its only when they start to get bigger and more challenging to their elders that fights break out. Even my two who are mother and daughter and love each other more than life, have little scraps. And those little scraps could very easily turn into something much bigger if I wasn't there to intervene immediately. Staffords have an adrenaline rush and most are quite difficult to snap out of their 'red-zone'. It can work and does for many people, you just have to be aware and ready to stop any dominance before it starts to avoid conflict.

Re: Someone slap me before do it again.
My two are 14months old and they weren't an accident. The second litter were, they have two dogs and the bitch. The older neutered dog was able to go out with the bitch but the owners teenage daughter let the younger un neutered dog out. She didn't confess until a few weeks later. He has been done now and the bitch will be after the pups go so there can be no more stupid mistakes .
I think i will help find the puppy a good home rather than take her.Mainly because i don't want to surround my 14yr old lurcher with three young dogs or have a group of elderly staffys in several years time. The two staffys have given the lurcher a new lease of life so maybe in a few years they can supervise another pup.
