I know it is quite common for dogs to be a little bit 'off' for a day or two after their vaccinations but not sure about it effecting his bowels. Was he wormed at the same time as this sounds more likely to be associated? I would be a bit concerned about the watery poo, but maybe it ties in with the bad wind! What are you feeding him on?

After this length of time I'd say it isn't the vaccination.

It could, however be worms. Was he wormed when you had him vaccinated? When do you go back for the 2nd lot of jabs?

Being a bit off for a day or two is normal. If you have changed his diet it may affect his bowel movements. If you haven't changed his diet and it continues you should ask your vet and as long as you follow the advice of the vet you should be okay.

Pups should be wormed at 2weeks, 5-6 weeks and 8 weeks, and then monthly until 6 months old. After that it should be every 3 months.

I'd phone the vet and explain the symptoms. Ask if it couold be due to worms. Don't forget, all pups are born with a high worm infestation, and at 8 weeks old your pup will still have plenty in his gut!

my vet reccomended worming every 2 weeks until 12 weeks then monthly thereafter also i had the same poo problem...turns out that bakers is very bad for your pup ive since changed my girls to wainwrights and its made a massive differencelets just say its "solid" lol Big Grin also with first vaccs roxi was unwell for about 48 hours but then went back to normal so if its been longer its unlikely to be due to vaccinations your pup looks adorable i could just eat him up!!

I wouldn't get the wormers from the pet shop - they're nowhere near as good as the vets, as they won't cover for lungworm.

Here's a thread on dry food that might be helpful...
