So cute. I am sure though that Tyson would have had the rats for lunch

That's amazing! Don't think I'll try that with Saxon and the gerbils...

Re: Joe and his friends
Great pics. You have very well socialized dogs who get along with all types of animals. Well done I'm not sure I would let Suki anywhere near any type of rodent though.

Re: Joe and his friends
with Brownie we have to work on it, but she is now 2 weeks with us... so we have time. she knows the rats and my horse. we also went to a zoo with her but she was a little bit afraid. Joe was so cool, so she was relaxed at the end of the zoo.
Re: Joe and his friends

Re: Joe and his friends
what a beautiful dog being with all those different animals, I wish I had the animals around to teach Russell not to go after them, but alas, anything runs, he chases it to eat it

LOL... Vlad still thinks chasing the cat is an awesome game. I don't think he wants to eat her, he wants to play, but she just can't get her head around that idea... she is (bit not for much longer) bigger than him, so not quite a suitable chew toy for him... yet
I love the first picture of Joe and the rat, they look like they are snuggling. Very cute!

Re: Joe and his friends
my claim to fame is finally we can have Winston with us when we let the chooks ( chickens ! ) out their yard every afternoon, and when they take off a million miles an hour to find all the worms and grubs he doesn't chase them! He has been after them since he was 6 weeks old!! He is finally getting used to them!! Yah !!

Re: Joe and his friends
Beautiful pics. Joe is very well socialized, well done...we still have a long way to go with little rusty but I don't think socializing him will be a problem, he already gets along with all the other doggies on the yward

Re: Joe and his friends
It's not so difficult... when he gets older, don't move him away from other dogs - let them play, doesn't matter if the other dog is male or female.
