Beggars Belief
Stupid Stupid people.
Just got back from a walk with my motor in law and out dogs.
We were doing our normal route. We turn a corner and these two HUGE dogs. (I don't know what they were and that's not the issue. Not far off great Dane size though. Jus to give you an idea of their size) started barking and running towards us. One of the dogs starts growling. We call to one of the owners to call them away and they call out "it's friendly" my mother in law calls to her it's growling. She says "it's ok it's growling at you!!!!"
seriously!!!!!! I'm not kidding!!!!!
These dog had no collars on either.
We turned and walked back to the car as quickly as we could.. Turned round and one of the dogs was behind us.
Do we call the Dog Warden????

Re: Beggars Belief
Gowling at your mother in law as opposed to your dogs, which somehow makes it ok?!?!?! or groqling at your mother in law as opposed to her?!?!? WTF!!! (excuse me!)
Did you recognise the owner or dogs at all??? Lack of colar always alarms me a bit, just because twice now ive encountered dogs without them running about roads, and you cant catch them as easliy, especially if youve got your own dog with you.
Maybe if you see them about and it happens again you should call the dog warden. But if its really bothered you, call, ive had to call them before and they were fine. Dunno what its like to have to go get your dog form them mind you...

Janey what happened yesterday? Are you and Moo ok?
I would call the dog warden if this happens again, next time it might not just stop at the growling and that would be awful. Some people just dont care and thats the scary thing.
