Hello from Yorkshire
Hi I have 2 rescue staffy bitches.
Della: white with black patch over eye is about 10/11yrs old we got her in 2003 she had been tied up outside a shopping centre and left, she had had a litter of puppies as she was still producing milk. She also has a cauliflower ear which needs quite a bit of care. She is a loving girl as they all are and often nestles her head on your knee.
Duffy: brindle with lots of white she is 10 months old and comes from the Mayflower Sanctuary. Her mum was rescued from the local pound as she was pregnant and went on to have 9 pups. We have had Duffy from her being 9 weeks old. She is a tearaway at times and loves to torment Della but knows when to stop. They snuggle up together everyday using each other as cushions - quite amusing to watch. She is coming on nicely and loves everyone and everything - a bit too much sometimes
I will post some pics soon.

Hi there and Welcome from Me and Roxy.
Thanks for sharing your girls stories, and Great job on giving them a loving , caring home. Excuse my lack of knowledge but what is a "cauliflower ear" ?
Looking forward to seeing pics of them both when you get around to it

Re: Hello from Yorkshire
Thanks for welcoming me to the site everyone
Loopy: cauliflower ear is when the structure of the ear has collapsed due to infection or being hit (boxers are renowned for them - the human kind that is)

No idea how it happened to her. She came to us with it like that but she is very good at letting me clean it and goodness does it need cleaning.
