I have just had

A mouthful of abuse from a bunch of 12 year olds walking a french bulldog thing.They let it off lead up the park when i was walking with cairo back home.I told her to grab her dog but she stood there finding it funny.I had to hold it by its collar to pull it off cairo and this girl runs over telling me to stop strangling her dog,so i said to her i asked you to get it off now im holding it back.So they start with the usual gobby attitude.She puts it on an extendable lead,letting it follow and jump over cairo when were walking up the path.So i grabbed the dog again,pushed it out of the way and she starts telling me i abused her dog and her mums going to give me black eyes because i just abused her 2 thousand pound worth of dog (her price tag not mine) I ended up having to walk into the police station to get them to walk away.Seriously not happy right now.

What a convienient place to walk into, I don't suppose you mentioned threatening behaviour at all?????

Bunch of idiots! A lot of the teenagers around here are like that too. I got told the other night when I walked past with Tinkerbell "my dog will fight yours" just glad he had no dog with him because no doubt he would have found it funny to set his dog on mine!!!

some of the youngsters now have no idea of manners or anything cos if you were to see the mother they wouldnt be that much older. kids having kids is turning our society into a horrible place to be

Aw that sucks Lisa, hope you and Cairo are ok.

It does make me worry about how much worse things are gonna be when my 3 are teens. I like to think though that my husband and I will raise them to stay as respectful and well mannered as they are now and not turn into the juvenile delinquwents that we see so often at the mo.

Yes, it is a worry when raising young ones and you see what "SOME" of them turn out like.

So many teens ( and younger ) seem to think it is their "right" to do as they please. Yes, we all heve "rights" but they should have "manners" "morals" "concience" and in general "good behaviour" . Having kids is not all that different to having dogs ( ok , so maybe it is, but i'm trying to make a point ) You as a parent / master set the ground-rules and teach your child / dog what is acceptable and what is not. You show them love and they will show you love in return. You spend quality "time" with them and you will see the results.....don't spend quality "time" with them and they will begin to misbehave and then continue a downhill spiral if not bought back into line.

Just thought I'd add....I have 2 girls age 15 and 12 and have not had any issues. No child is and "Angel" but If they acted like some of the youth today I would not be happy to say the least

The likelihood that these girls had much in the way of a good upbringing where they were taught manners, respect, good attitudes and proper social interaction is slim to none given that this little so-and-so said her mum would give two black eyes! Charming role model there! It's unfortunate, because her dog will have no proper training either and will probably turn out as thug like as it's young owner! Supernanny needs to visit that household I think!

It is shocking how little respect and manners kids have these days. I am so sorry you had to go through this. I hope you and Cairo are ok.

A few years back, I heard a little brat in the supermarket demanding his mum buy him an easter egg..she said no she didn't have enough money, so the little swine starting poking and breaking every egg he could get to !!

Felt like bashing his head against a brick wall..what a little swine! His mum quickly grabbed him and raced off..leaving a trail of destruction behind them !!

Some people really need to learn the distinction between children behaving like children and children behaving like brats! We were recently in a cafe and a very pretentious couple came in with their 4 children.. the children were running around and one was repeatedly kicking my chair... the parents did nothing! We left and many others in there were also looking annoyed!
