F.A.O GEM (Holly & Duke's mummy)
You commented on a shampoo topic that you use something called Oilatum when their coat is dull and abit flaky but in what kind of form do you use... I recently checked out info on Oilatum and it comes in shampoo's - lotions - creams - adult formula - paraffin liquid bath. !!! Which one do you use and how often do you use it or apply it ??
Cheers thanx

But when you say you have the liquid form of oilatum which one is that (any chance you can add it here for me so i know what to order).. and that you add a small capful when your rinsing your dogs, duz that mean you shampoo with something else and add the oilatum when rinsing !!... Really sorry if am sounding abit blonde ...gem wrote:I only bath my 2 at each season so about 4 times a year and I have the liquid form of oilatum I add a small capful to the water when im rinsing and the dogs have nice shiny coats and a good oiled and moisterised skin after
Inca has got dry skin but only really on her back legs and near the base of her tail and her back (near the base of her tail)... I would deffo buy this if i knew it would help her dry skin issue... When i part Inca's fur her skin is abit flaky like dandruff...and she is trying her nibble at her tail which also looks abit dry aswell ... Any ideas's or comments would be very greatful...

Hi I shampoo first with t-gel theraputic shampoo its great for skin conditions .
Then when I rince I add a cap full of oilatum emolient (blue bottle sorry dont have a linc) thats good for skin and puts a shine and waterproofs the coat .
I also swear by maleseb shampoo if the skin is sensitive , redness, rashes , irritations , hope the info is of some use
