Re: A CALENDAR
I have a staffy calendar hanging up too..but guess what..Jethro IS in it!!( not bragging or anything!! )
There was a facebook page last year that asked people to send in pics of their staffys, with permission to use the photo. It was to raise money for staffy rescue and they printed 2 calendars. One of rescue staffys and one on staffys from around the world. There are about 6 or 7 or 8 photos for each month. Jethro is featured on this months 'driving' the tractor!
I bought 2 of them ( they were from America) and my pal nearly fell of her chair when she looked through it and saw Jethro in it!!

Re: A CALENDAR
Its very do-able, we just need to set up some kind of vote to choose which photos are going to be included and then get in contact with a company such as this one - http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/vp/AE/wall_desk_calendars_ABCD.aspx?ad=broad&mk=make+calendars&GP=9%2f21%2f2011+9%3a15%3a11+AM&GPS=2186131086&GNF=1&GPLSID=4137982449
As if we wanted say 100 calendars we will get a reduction on printing and paper costs

Re: A CALENDAR
Good plan Owen, we can find out the price to make wach one and put an extra pound fifty on top, that way we will cover the postage and make a quid or so pp for a staffy charity

Re: A CALENDAR
Ive just got in touch with a printer ive used before for my design work.
Hes guna send me over a couple of samples.
The more we print, the cheaper it costs per calender.
How much do you think is a reasonable price per calender? I spose it depends on how many people want one, and how much it costs per calender to print.

Re: A CALENDAR
I'm not sure i like this topic, if anything goes wrong or whatever then it will be the forum fault i dont if i want to take thist risk.
Re: A CALENDAR
I agree with Steve. I t could cause a few nightmares and arguments cause people haven't got the month they want there are only 12 months in a year and there could be up to 100 people wants their dogs picture on a calendar, there is lot of room for upsets. Also I used to publish calendars in another life and there will be many arguments and they style of calendar the size and of the print run
Another time maybe folks
