Feel good story for a Monday afternoon!

Frank never seems to amaze me.

On Sunday my OH had a party with his troops he just toured Afghan with and all Friends and Family we’re invited. Was a really nice afternoon/night, and a few of the guys who have dogs, had their dogs there to.
Sean has a dog also called Lyle who is a 8 year old Staffy, when Sean’s away Lyle stays with his mum, I’ve never meet a nicer dog than Lyle, and he is so loyal to Sean its crazy, which was a large part in my choice to get a staff.
I decided that I was going to take Frank along with me as the only dog he would be around would have been Lyle and I know he’s a good dog, and he seems to look after Frank a lot.
Anyway after a few drinks I phoned my mum and asked her to come pick up Frank and Lyle (dog sitting), they were they no longer than an hour.
As my mum got there we we’re all sitting down Frank on the big seats sitting by my side, Lyle at my feet, and the boys started give speeches.

QUE THE BIG GIRL IN ME!!!

All the speeches we’re really nice and I was welling up something awful then Sean stood up and started speaking and that was it he set me off bit time.

Frank looked at me crying away and was straight up trying to lick away my tears (along with half my make up) lots of kisses and hugs from him, Lyle quickly joined in, although I don’t think Lyle was doing it because I was crying, then Sean come over for a hug … my boys spoilt me.

I keep banging on about how much of a character Franks turning out to be and how much I love his little cheeky nature, but I forget he’s figuring me out at the same time! He’s learning the trades of my character!! He must understand mummy’s crying and that’s not okay!! When mummy cries he wants to wipe away my tears!!

I’m a lucky girl, and I love my boys!!!

There intuition amazes me they really are mans best friend.

Awwwww, he loves his Mummy. They seem to know when we need them.

I was watching a TV program once which made me cry. At the time we had only had Rocky a few weeks. He jumped onto my lap and started to kiss me and gave me a cuddle. The OH said "He knows you are sad". Ive been in love with him since. >< and always will be.

They are very good at providng comfort and always seem to know when we need it.
