Should Staffordshire Bull Terriers be banned question
Another article written from someone who knows nothing about the breed who simpley want to blame a specific breed of dog instead of the bad owner. Grrrrrr

Just had a read of a few em....good to see some staffy owners leave comments.
I wouldn't take too much notice of this imbecile journalist......obviously this person knows very little if anything about the Staffordshire breed.

Re: Should Staffordshire Bull Terriers be banned question
they will never get ban i will put momeny on it i think the goverment knows the cost of banning another breed and enforce it would be silly, with all the cut back there no money to enforce any type of ban on anything
Re: Should Staffordshire Bull Terriers be banned question
one of the posts on that article was mine i just had 2 makes me laugh how they only post stories about sbt`s i can gaurantee theyve never actually owned one...and no offence but when we were kids jrt`s (ankle biters as we know them!) had a seriously bad name in my neighbourhood for attacking kids

Hmm....that got me thinking, when i first got my staffy pup i took her to my nannas who has a poodle. He was trying to ...ahem... get aquainted with her...
What on earth would a poodle /staffy cross look like....i may have to investigate this further.

I've just emailed them! Will let you know if I get a response.
Re: Should Staffordshire Bull Terriers be banned question
unfortunately it is the reporters who will only report stories that are sensational and that they know will make people read if you add a good head line. sorry but poodle mauled womans knee doesnt cut it the name isnt sensational enough and neither is the look of the dog. the same as missing poeple and chcases are in the news alot. it is not this day and age it has always been its just things are reported more now and there is more choice of news papers on the stand. add that to the fact that people now will be more free with their words and ready to jump on their soap boxes before they have even researched the subject matte thoroughly

Re: Should Staffordshire Bull Terriers be banned question
I wouldn't worry about it to much after the big failure with pitbull there no way would the goverment ban another breed....

Steve wrote:a dog without papers like pitbull types
How many people have even seen a pit-bull tbh?People like to throw the word about.
Most people think a pit-bull is huge built, large breed and has cropped ears(not that they know this is an aesthetic procedure) in my experience.
