Oh, dear, why can't you sleep? Is it really night terrors?

My son used to suffer from those, but he never remembered them when he woke up the next day!

You poor thing - that's awful. I hope you have a better sleep tonight.

Have you tried putting a couple of drops of lavender oil on your pillow? It's supposed to calm the brain so you get a more restful night - worth a try?

I'm very into herbs and oils and i did try it, but it just seems there is too much going on upstairs and my mind can ever rest or stop even i do sleep its a restless one.

I read a topic on here and wished I hadnt as I hate cruelty and Ive been waking up in the night now getting up checking on the dogs Sad
When I moved house I had some awful dreams that I kept letting myself into the old house and cooking ect the family would return home and id be hiding get caught arrested it was so weird .
Anyway I watched a program and they said that your dreams reflect what has made a impact on your mind so like a shock or something youve felt bad about or worried or an attachment maybe.
Try to destress yourself before you sleep Claire Smile

It was a horrible one and i'v its roughly the same as all the others.
I was staying up my sisters while her and her family were away I was looking after her dog but her dog looked more like our old dog spliff than the one she has now, There was another woman staying and she just wasn't right in the head. I was only there with Taz not the girls. I went for a walk I came back and knew something was terribly wrong, I went to my room couldn't find Taz so i walked across the hallway walked past another bedroom which was a shower room which the other woman was in, I went into her room and reached under the bed to find Taz under there, I pulled him out he was tied up at the legs and he was bleeding really badly from his head I untied him, I carried him into my room and she was there, Taz went crazy trying to attack her after what she did to him,I remember putting my hand in his mouth as he was snapping and he stoped and seemed to calm down, Then she was saying it was his fault and if her dog pulled on the lead like he did and to demonstrate she started slapping the other dog around the head, I told to leave so i can get the dogs under control and we'll have words in the hallway. I calmed the dogs down and i met her in the hallway...she never saw it coming.

I think the scariest part was not just about Taz but the fact that i didn't just hit her.

I hate nightmares, especially those ones that hanut you for days because they are so real. Hollie has just started getting them too, but she can't tell me what she dreamt about when she wakes crying. It is days later that we find out because she mentions something about it but doesn't understand that they aren't real life!

My hubby recons that when he was night fishing when he was about 14 they saw a woman pushing a pram 4 ft in the air about 30 miles an hour in the feild. Him and his mates legged it and left there tackle and his dad had to go get it in the morning cause they wouldnt go back. Bet he had been on the majic mushrooms or summat he was a bit of a lad back then Smile

Quite possible - they grow naturally where we used to live & the travellers (decent ones, not the trouble kind) would pick them & cook them in stews. We didn't know, and we were invited to one of the caravans for supper one evening............... hypnotised silly
