They are really active for about 4-5 years and than slow down. I used to take mine on 5KM runs three times a week. Omce she was 5ish she wasn't having it anymore. Lovely breed but the health issues are a bit much at times.

I kept thinking maybe they should be running along side the skate, rather than on it, sorry to all bulldog lovers 
Their build is not exactly athletic, admittedly I don't know much about the breed, but I just wondered if the "rounded girth" is prone to health issues....?

They don't breath very well and only live 8-10 years. They are also VERY stubborn and have lots of health issues. However, they are also VERY loving and are lots of fun.
