well Lemmy is the first dog we have had that hasnt had a lovely big thick coat so got a surprise this morning when he got a chill after getting caught in the rain. we got home and i dried him off and he seemed fine but an hour later he was abit sleepy and felt cold. he laid in his bed so i wrapped him in his blanket and within an hour he was fine and warm and running round. strange i think i am going to have watch him from now and get him a coat pretty soon not just when the weather turns bad. does anyone elses dog get a chill like that

My last dog used to feel the cold quite badly - he had a very short coat, almost non-existent on his belly.

Dempsey only needs a coat if it's REALLY cold. If he gets wet in the winter then & put a hoody on him when we get home & he soon warms up!
