Hi eveyone, I have a lovely Staffie cross with a German Shepard. Her name is Eden and she is a year and a half. She was a rescue from Battersea. We have been through hell and a lot of shoes and running off but now she is a great dog and very balanced. A few questions. What is the best dry food for them? She is eating Dr Johns which is really for working dogs. Also she does a lot of sleeping and seems to get tired fairly quickly. Is this normal? How much exercise do they need? I am worried about giving her too much.

Hiya and welcome! Im not sure about Dr johns food ive never heard of it. If u look in the health section there is a list of good dry foods. Staffies thrive on exercise the more the better at her age really. They need a minimum of two 1 hour walks a day. x

Hiya and welcome, well done for rehoming thats fantastic, I also got through a lot of heels with my first, not the shoe just the heel!
Here's a link for dry foods https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t598-dry-food-recommendations?highlight=dry+food , mines on James Welbeloved and I would recomend it myself. As for exersize, 2 45 min walks a day is the minimum I would suggest, but also training and mind games too.
Would love to see some pics of Eden (cute name)
