milly and water

When milly drinks water she always seems to choke afterwards.But when we give her goats milk now and again as a Treat she always seems fine no choking.I know it might sound strange but its true.We carnt understand why she Always chokes when drinking water.It worries me.

billy does the same, he has like a little cough and sort of spits some out
it does not happen all the time just occasionally so i have not been too worried

does it happen quite a lot

Yes normally every time she drinks water.Do you think it would be worth Having a word with vet.Or do you think im worrying over nothing.

sometimes she sounds like she has phelym in her throat.Maybe its me just being over protective. I can be a bit of a worrier

Could she be drinking too fast? We also put Suki's food and water bowls on a stand so she doesn't strain her neck too much. (She's a bit spolied )

Can i purchase one of them water bowls on a stand at pets at home.Sounds like a good idea

I put Jethro's outside water bowl on a brick so it is up higher...but inside where he gets fed he has his metal bowl on a stand. He seems to drink better when his bowl is that bit higher...

Not sure where we got it from. My better half does the shopping. I would think they would be in most pet stores though because having the bowls up higher does really seem to help them.

Thanks for all the advice ive searched round on net and found her one at pets at home.I will purchase one and let you know how she gets on with it Hopefully no more choking
