dissapointed
We took Russell to the dog park today, with a few friends and their Labs/border collie.
I saw a few young people with three staffy's and was excited to go and meet them, until one of their staffs attacked (I couldn't really see so may not have full on attacked) a little dog that I have seen there many times, I could hear the lil one screaming. The lady who owned the little dog was there with her four young daughters when we heard all this comotion, the people with the staffys were swearing at her calling her awful names, now I didn't see the whole thing but after it was over I went and asked the lady if she was ok and she started crying, all her daughters were crying and they left the park straight away. I felt so bad for them and wanted to go and talk to the people with the staffys about it as I was pretty unimpressed with what I heard.
felt so bad for the young girls, luckily there dog was ok.
I get so frustrated with people like this, the park is so good and I love it but people like that are the kind that make me want to avoid it sometimes.

Re: dissapointed
That's a real shame. I hope this doesn't keep them from coming back and that people won't think tha tRussell acts like that.

Re: dissapointed
This happened not very long ago were I walk my 2 . I was with my hubby and as we approached the field I could see a woman with a white staffy and a small cross throwing a ball for the staffy I just knew and said to my hubby back off a bit or turn around. Next thing a woman came on with 2 young yorkies and the staffy went straight in I felt sick so my hubby took our 2 home and I went to help the little yorkies had come off lead and run for there lives the owner of the staffy got a right mouth full of me and shes never been there since.

Re: dissapointed
It only takes one person to make the dog park go from fun to tragedy (or near tragedy). So sorry this happened. Hope it didn't spoil their image of Staffs or Stafford owners!
