From Baby to big boy
Just thought I would post these because I know a lot of people do buy Staffy's with no papers and start to worry when they see them growing up and looking thin with long legs. I know people think they've bought a pitbull or somthing. All I know is when I bought Billy people kept asking me what he was. Billy is the nicest dog you could ever meet and some times he can get a bit exited but to be honest he is 19 month old now and he is settling down a lot. Anyway this is how our billy looked as a pup and how he has grown. I have read somwhere some dogs are 3 years old when they stop filling out.
I hope this goes to show, if you have a long legged staffy, you should feel very lucky because they do grow up to be lovely looking staffs as do short legged staffy's.

love all the photos.. Billy has certainly grown into a big beautiful boy. Love the last photo of him with his happy smile, and also the one of him lying on his side chewing a stick. His litter mates look like Winston's did.. all different colours!!

No worries, I think it's important to show how a dog grow's up to help other's to understand the steps thier pups might go through as they grow up.

Re: From Baby to big boy
So did you get to see Winston's parents? Billy's mum was tan and I am told his Dad was a black irish staff. If you look at Billy his coat isnt pure black. He is more lighter than black. Like a very dark blue colour. My girlfriends sister has a champion bloodline staffy who is black and when you put them together Billy doesnt look as black as him.

lol. yes, I think it's the teething lol. Im always being asked if he has Whippit or Grayhound in him. Ive decided, when I have a bit of extra money Im going to do one of them Tests where you can send away to find out what breeds are in his family tree. I think it would be great to know what his background is.

There lovely photo's. It's amazing how they have so many different colours. I wished I know where Billy's sisters and brothers ended up. Would be nice to see how they look now, but the people we bought him off didnt keep in contact with any of them and I actually had to find them over facebook.
Just look at Wuntson ears lol. How cute lol.

Lovely pics, my moo isn't 'standard' but she is lush all the same. I wouldn't bother with a DNA test thingy, there pretty inacurate.

Re: From Baby to big boy
Im glad it helps. I was all new to it all when I got Billy because he was my first Staffy and only Staffy I have ever owned. There wasnt many photos around with the same dog from pup to adult so I thought Id post these. Im glad they help people who are all new to staffy's.
