Just goes to show how resilient dogs are, and what high pain thresholds they have!

I really hate this i hate the fact that they put their dogs in knowing danger, he got injured and the officer checked him over and let him work for a few more hours..there was obviousely a head injury from the bloody nose and he should of taken him straight to the vets.
The police and the army use these dogs as front liners.
I used to think it was a good thing as the police and army used to rescue their dogs and the dogs were well looked after but now they don't even rescue they breed these dogs to purposely put them in danger, they get a choice the dogs do not, they are just doing as they are told their instincts tapped and exploted. Most of these dogs don't even go into retirment they are pts because they "couldn't be trusted in a family environment"sound familar?
Its just like our staffies if brought up wrong by the wrong people they are pts because they could never be trusted in a family environment.

Our Army dogs are given a retirement and found a good home. I'm not sure about the police dogs though.

Poor pup!! I hope he heals up well! Do they have kevlar vests for dogs over there? They're starting to have them here. I don't know if they make helmets, though.
