Seriously..?
So I've seen some ridiculous labels on consumer products lately...some made me laugh so I though I would share them...read on
If it proves one thing...some people in this world are succumbing to stupidity or thinking we're all stupid
On a hairdryer -- Do not use while sleeping.
yes because that's totally when I have the time
On a bag of chips -- You could win! No purchase necessary.
so they're saying stealing's ok?
On a bar of Dial Soap -- "Directions: use like regular soap."
Cause apparently we don't know how to use regular soap in the first place. I hope that's not true because that is just sad.
On some frozens -- "serving suggestions: defrost."
They did say it was just a suggestion so we don't have to defrost.
On a Dessert -- "Do not turn upside-down."
Opps well it's a bit late for that now, isn't it? Honestly whoever thought of that was a real genius.
On Bread pudding -- "product will be hot after heating."
well isn't that the point..?
On an Iron -- "Do not iron clothes on body."
It would be so much easier...
On a child cough medicine -- "do not drive or operate machinery after taking medication."
Cause children seriously drive and/or operate machinery.
On a sleep aid -- "warning: may cause drowsiness."
Okay, isn't that the point of SLEEP MEDICINE!!
On most brands of Christmas lights -- "For indoor or outdoor use only."
Right help me out on this one. It just plain confusing. As opposed to what?
On a food processor -- "Not to be used for the other use."
The other use would be...?
On peanuts -- "Warning: contains nuts."
Okay, if you didn't know that then seriously?
On a packet of nuts -- "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
Cause people really don't know how to eat nuts. So what would the third step be? Enjoy? Oh oh I got it.
On a chainsaw -- "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals."
God help me, has there been a lot of that happening somewhere?
That's all....some of those made me laugh Did any make anyone else laugh?
Some people....

Re: Seriously..?
I think that once a company gets sued the put on a silly warning label so the lawyers can't get them again.

Re: Seriously..?
A few in my house:
On a jar of peanut butter: Warning contains peanuts.
No spit, Sherlock! That's why I bought it!!
On a canine perfume spray: Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes
... Why would I spray dog perfume on my mucous membranes? What mucous membrane can I even access?
On Dog Toothpaste: Not fit for human consumption
Aww man!! What am I supposed to eat for dinner now??
On a candle: Keep away from things that catch fire easily
... Really? Are we that dumb these days?

Re: Seriously..?
This one is puzzling...
On my deoderant: Ask a doctor before use if you have kidney disease.
That's oddly specific... Should I be worried about my kidneys??
I feel like I need to show proof of that one:

Re: Seriously..?
I like how it says apply to underarms only. As if you were going to apply it to your forehead or something...

Re: Seriously..?
I found a few more today:
On the dog's shampoo -- The contents of this bottle should not be fed to fish.
Well I don't have fish...and even if I did why would I?
On normal shampoo -- For hair use only, not eyes.
Darn...I was totally going to wash my eyes with it....
On a Stroller -- Remove infant before folding into storage
Yes I would so leave a baby in it....
Child's playhouse -- this is not a toy
Then what is it...a real house?
King size bed mattress -- warning: Do not attempt to swallow
Okay, I died reading this one, who would really swallow it!? A fat guy thinking it's a giant sugar doughnut? Probably still not.
Firecrackers -- Do not light while holding in mouth
Uh...okay then?
Batteries -- Do not swallow. C or D batteries may cause choking.
What about A batteries, are those edible then? Okay, there's my dinner!
Hardware drill -- Not to be used for dental uses
Who would use it for teeth? Like seriously!
Quick packaged dinner -- Suggestion: Remove plastic before eating
Alright, No way! I was going to eat it with plastic...it tastes so much better.
Holy! How stupid do they think we are?

Re: Seriously..?
Phew.....good job they put these warnings on things or we'd all be in BIG trouble we'd have to actually use a bit of common sense

I found some more.....
On a Bathroom heater -- Not to be used in bathrooms
Where do you use them then...?
On a can of pepper spray -- Do not spray in your own eyes
Wasn't planning on it...
On a garden rock set -- eating rocks may lead to broken teeth, do not put them in mouth
really!? I never knew that....!
On a bag of our grapes -- please store in cold section of refrigerator
Where else would I put them, the microwave? And the whole fridge is cold!
On the TV remote -- not dishwasher safe
And I would put it in the dishwasher because....?
On air freshener -- for experienced and trained personnel only
You really need to be trained to spray stuff from a bottle?
On a hand-held massager -- Do not use while sleeping or unconscious
Why would someone need a massage if they're unconscious? I would be more concerned about myself in general!
