i need some help ! please
hey everyone been a long time since i have been on here hope everyone is ok but i need your help took shay to the vets the other day as she had upset tummy they put her on antibiotics, the next day she was being sick couldnt keep anything down ,next day she wasnt touching anything and was just sicking up the lining of her tummy i had to give her water through a seringe and just slept the whole of the days now day 5 she is a lot more happy not a 100% but just wont eat and she has lost a lot of weight can anyone help :S

i have an appointment for friday just very worrying she has eaten to day but only like a bit of bread and she has drunk by herself i did her some rice for dinner but she didnt want it tried hand feeding it to her but didnt want it either . she is a lazy dog anyway sleeps alot but she just wouldnt get off the sofa only to go on my bed just didnt no if there was anythng i could do to get her to eat

It could be a reaction to the anti-bs, but it could also be that they are not the right ones for whatever's wrong with her.
As long as she's drinking & keeping the water down I wouldn't be too worried, but it wouldn't hurt to phone the vets & ask if the appointment can be brought forward cause you're not happy with her progress.

well this is the second day of her kkeeping the water down and she has just wolfed back two ice creams i think ill ring them tomorrow just to be sure i must add that next doors dog had this two but he was eating and drinking

your doing well keep hydrated and if you have any sausages cut it in to small pieces and let it eat of your finger.if dosent look like its going to eat or drink take to vet good luck all the best

cook chicken for her and break it into small pieces, Im sure she wont refuse warm cooked chicken! My older staff has been feeling dodgy for a couple of days but she scoffed the chicken breats down I gave her. Probiotic yoghurt if you can get her to eat it is also great for bad bellys!
