paracetamol
my dog bess was getting over excited earlier today and while jumping around whacked her tail quite hard on the radiator, shes ok, gave out a yelp and carried on jumping around with my other two, i checked her tail that seems fine, no cut but i can tell its a bit sore, i read somewhere that its ok for animals to take human painkillers, so im wondering do you think it would be ok for me to give her half a paracetamol or not, i dont want to chance it unless i know, thanx

Re: paracetamol
I'm pretty sure a couple people here have given their dogs a half of paracetamol. Have a look though the health posts just to be sure though.

Re: paracetamol
After researching pain killers when Dempsey had 'dead tail' I'd always advise not to give paracetamol unless told to by a vet.
Half an asprin would be better, just for a stop-gap but proper veterinary pain killers are best. Some vets will give you a small supply of pain killers if you ask.
