Hi I'm new here :)
Hello, today I rescued a new male staffy puppy, I already have a 3 year old staffy bitch, she has been amazing with him so far, being really inquisitive and playful but gentle, with only a few warning growls when he goes near her toys!
We are a little nervous about the first few weeks/months as we got Taz when she was 7 months old, but our new puppy is only 6 weeks old, so we are new to this, we are using puppy training pads to toilet train him.
We would really love some advice on what to expect with a new staffy puppy, like how long will it take for him to start using his puppy pads on his own, and how long it will take for him to settle at night, and any other advice you all would think necessary.
Here's a picture of our new little man!

Re: Hi I'm new here :)
hey welcome!
can't help with puppy pads because I didnt use them but I can tell you Russell wasn't toilet trained (for outside) till around 19 weeks old.
the settling at night may take more than a week, in my experience, 3 or 4 days but all pups are different so it could take longer or may happen quicker! just be consistant with ignoring his whining and greet him calmly in the morning. he'll be fine!
