RSPCA support neutering at 6 weeks!
I know a lot of people don't agree with me about letting a dog mature before neutering, and that's fine - everybody has their own opinion, but this in my view is abuse..............

How could they put an animal this young through that.
My pup is only 7 wks and I would never put him through such a thing in my opionion they are still babies.
my rocko will get neutered and I feel that 6 months 2 a year should be the right time. xx

They are a joke, they shouldn't put the poor pups through that just because it will stop it from being an unwanted dog When you get a dog your supposed to teach it right from wrong, that would be called responsible ownership!
6 weeks is WAY to young, they aren't even old enough to leave their mother at that age (and shouldn't) let alone get neutered!

Re: RSPCA support neutering at 6 weeks!
In the US they commonly speuter (spay and neuter) kittens at 14 weeks or 2 pounds, what ever comes first. I waited until my Bowie (male) was 8 months and Ziggy (female) was 1 year. I don't think it's ok to put tiny kitten through surgery. And I certainly don't think it's ok to put a little pup through surgery! I think that 6 months should be the youngest a pup gets speutered.

That is unacceptable its just a lazy way of saying lets not teach lets just hack bits of them off. they are far to young, genitalia/testicles and the females uterus hasn't even developed properly yet. I understand that shelters are over run and many people who adopt young pets and sign a contract agreeing to paying and neutering at 6 months but they don't and often or not once the dogs get older their are found wandering the streets or pregnant and are then put back in kennels.
I'v seen so many adverts saying we rescued a this dog now we have to sell her and her pups. 6 weeks is ridiculous and if you ask me this is going to cause more dogs in kennels with behaviour/health issues because of these procedures being done so young.
My god rather than do all these little things to prevent dogs over running kennels which is going to cost millions just do the one big thing and come down harder on the irresponsible owners

RSPCA do fail to amaze me , There the ones who are ment to be have animals well being at heart , And there spaying animals at 6 weeks old , And there the ones making the rules, Think they need sueing to be honest! COMPLETE IDIOTS! But I still believe they do a amazing job, And I bet Isnt all the RSPCA centres In the country, Who are spaying at 6 weeks old , Just 1 or 2 centres , Breaking the rules .

Re: RSPCA support neutering at 6 weeks!
Only just seen this and it's absolutely disgusting!! I would NEVER even consider spaying/neutering an animal at this age!! I have absolutely no faith in the RSPCA whatsoever, I've seen the consequences of their screw ups a few too many times. IMO, they do more harm than good.
