Hi, finally got in contact with Russell's breeder after asking him for photos ages ago, kinda wish he sent me some body shots but oh wells, here is Russell's parents:

apparently he looks a lot like Banjo's sire, so that must be where all the light brindle comes from, he was the only pup in the litter that wasn't black brindle.

they are gorgeous aren't they?! both the mum and dad had very stumpy legs yet Russell's got long legs, goes to show you never know what you're gonna get!

Mum and dad are lovely and so is russell.
All dogs carry the brindle gene its how it transforms in the puppies , brindle has a bold colour usually black with another usually brown when mixed together it usually forms in the stripe but it can produce solid colours of black and brown Smile
