Awww thats a shame, but if she's a biter i wouldn't class that as being good with kids personally.

Aw such a shame. I'm not surprised you're gutted, to have it go that far and then a let down, such a disappointment.
Good luck finding a pup

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
Sorry to hear that, knock backs are pants epecially when you are trying to help. I was knocked back for one before Moo, I was all set to pick her up, took some time off, and when I got there, the day after I had the call, they had re-homed her to someone else, wtf!! All I'll say is please still choose to re-home, sometimes it isn't always easy but you will be doing such an amzing thing XxxX

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
Such a shame, you shouldnt give up on a rescue yet though there are LOADS of staffs in centers up here, mostly crosses. Few month ago one center had a litter of males about 5, 6 month old staffy crosses =( so sad x

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
i understand how frustrating it is =( Henry can be really funny with other dogs, we took him to a few centres before we found Missy, and she's perfect =D it will happen if you are patient xx

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
Awww such a shame! =( .. we looked into rescue before we got skye but my closest kennel's didnt have many that met the criteria to suit vinnie etc most of them been male and obv we wanted to play safe and have opo sex paired, so we went with a buying another pup too.
Sometimes even tho you try, things happen and it cant be helped.

Just don't rule out a rescue too soon, if your willing to travel 80miles then there will be a perfect one that truely needs a home not far Xx

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
Awwww what a shame. As everyone else says its a shame 2 give up on a rescue there really are sooooo many needed homes and so many out there that would suit u. Pregnant mums are coming into rescue all the time if its a pup your after. When we decided to rescue Ty i was after a little pup and phoned 4 local rescues near me. 1 offered me the pick of a 8 week old litter, one offered me Ty 6 months, and the other 2 had a 12 week old and 18 week old. We decided on Ty as we thought the others being so little would find homes more easily and Ty had a few issues from being abused although has always been a angel with my kids 1 and 5 at the time x

Re: tryed to rescue a staffy
yes how upsetting that must have been.. so close to bringing her home.
At the right time, another staffy will come along I am sure of it. You are doing a wonderful thing !
