axl is really enjoying being able to go out for walks nothin fazes him and he loves sniffing and saying hi to all the dogs he meets just have to keep working on the pulling tho as he pulls untill he starts choking bless him

i got a harness for rocky then im gonna eventually ween him of it, so much better control and wen he pulls its not on his throught

i was thinking bout getting a harness but a few ppl have told me i need to get him walking with a collor 1st but i cant keep letting me choke him self so might give it a go

try a half choke coller thats what worked for me my boy used to pull like mad but no more

it used to me angry cus i couldnt stop him hes 10 times better on a harness and getting better on a collar just spose there all differant, my mates staffy never pulled not once grrrrr lol thats my view anyway and its workin for rocky but just see, fingers crossed cus no one wants a dog that pulls like that lol good luck

the harnesses look really nice and comfy think i will give one a go thank u and i will put pictures up of his walks 2day

We used a no pull harness on Bodhi for the first couple of months and he walks lovely on just a normal harness now, don't use collars myself as our previous staff used to choke herself and would cough and splutter, not a nice sight. x

We use a half choke for when she will be around alot of things that distract her and want to be able to control the head. I got her a harness/backpack that we will work in. Have yu tried using an umbrella or other object to place in front of the dog to correct the behavior?
